The two overnight frosts were unwelcome, making leaves droop, draining color from the flowers, but not unexpected. The snow (ok, flurries, but I saw at least three rounds and the flakes lingered on Leo’s shiny black coat before melting) on Sunday was terribly premature and the temperature, while dreadful, 41, was appropriate for a cold drizzle.
