The Bridge Group Artists’ studio cleans up real nice and tomorrow will once again be transformed into Gallery 300 with the opening of latest The Bridge/MoMA partnership exhibit, “Beyond Reality,” including work by newest member Annie Kim.
As I’ve previously written, I’m a big supporter of the artists and a close friend of program director, extraordinary art therapist Judy Raskin-Rosenthal. But being biased doesn’t mean that I’m not also right–the work is innovative, beautiful, skillful, deeply-felt and sometimes funny.
The “Beyond Reality” reception on November 13 at The Bridge, 248 West 108th Street, runs from 1:15 pm until 8:00 pm, with remarks at 1:30 pm and 7:00 pm. Collectors know to arrive early–not to, is to risk disappointment.
The exhibit continues through December 7 and then travels to MoMA’s education department gallery, on view from December 14 through January 31, 2013.
